About

Our Purpose

The mission of the Clay County Soil & Water Conservation District is to ensure a quality urban and rural environment through protection, restoration, and improvements of our soil, water and natural resources.

Who We Are

Clay SWCD is a Special District that consists of five volunteer elected officials who serve a four-year term with a term limit of 12 years. Individuals must have agricultural experience per Florida statutes and must reside in the district in which they serve. Soil and Water supervisors are unpaid, nonpartisan officials who fall under the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS).
